The solution is in your setup menus, not in Photoshop. I don't take a 3100, so I can't tell y'all exactly how to exercise it, but it should be cleverly hidden in either the "impress options" or "delete options" sub menu of the playback set upwardly bill of fare tree.

Nikon is famous for writing their owners manuals in Jinglish, and the convoluted logic makes it quite a challenge to effigy simple things similar this out.

See page 56 of your manual. Set date banner to "No".

I'm wondering if you hateful you accidentally had it set for print appointment and desire to get them off the photos?? Try cloning in Photoshop.

In answer to removing the date imprint from the photos already taken: If the background behind the date banner is fairly uniform, yous tin use the clone tool (looks like a rubber postage) to remove the date. Scott Kelby has written several swell books on photo retouching with PS. Encounter "Photoshop Photograph Retouching Secrets"

I'd clone something near the appointment if possible

but there must be other means to cover the date by superimposing something else. Everyone out in that location take some ideas?

On mine, hit the "menu" push button, then coil down to the wrench icon,

Find something that says "Print date" and click on information technology

Plough it off.

That solves mine.
